Andrew Kruger is a dynamic and accomplished executive with a proven track record of building and leading innovative organizations. As the President of the Foundation for Community Resilience, he spearheads initiatives to enhance disaster preparedness, recovery, and long-term resilience in communities. His leadership focuses on fostering collaboration among stakeholders, integrating advanced technologies, and delivering impactful solutions that empower communities to thrive in the face of adversity.

Andrew’s expertise spans multiple industries, including construction, disaster management, and organizational development. He serves as CEO of BuildSOS Inc., where he has pioneered a comprehensive framework integrating real-time data, advanced technologies, and stakeholder collaboration to rebuild stronger and more resilient communities after disasters.  His extensive career also includes co-founding Sagamore Services, a company dedicated to post-disaster advisory, training, and rebuilding services, as well as a range of leadership roles in strategy, financial analysis, and project management.

Andrew holds an MBA in Management and Organizational Behavior from Tulane University and a Master’s in Leadership Development from Boston University. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and an experienced guest lecturer and speaker, sharing insights on leadership, resilience, and innovation.  He authored a book on leadership aimed at bringing academic leadership findings to everyday life.
